Look What We Are Doing

2021

• Supply over two hundred and fifty book bags filled with school supplies

• Assist with three college scholarships

• Host three family support seminars

• Assist six individuals in paying for their prescriptions

• Assist in finding and paying for fifteen children with emergency daycare

• Donate over three hundred pounds of food to our community

• Donate clothing, shoes and housing supplies to over thirty families & individuals

• Assist our community with transportation to appointments

• Host a no cost educational summer program for six weeks over the summer

• Assist two families with locating and initial payment for housing

• Assist five families with purchasing transportation

We also hosted our first annual Unity in the Community in downtown Martinsburg where we were able to:

• Feed over two hundred people

• Assist in registering people to vote

• Assist in getting twenty-seven people permanent jobs with major large employers in our community  

• 2022

• Sponsored our second annual Unity in the Community

• Raffeled off a car

• Moved into our larger building

• Purchased cars for 3 families through our family improvement service

• Assisted two families in setting and reaching their goals

• Fed over 1000 members of our community

• Opened our first  FREE clothing shop

• Opened our first  FREE grocery store

• Provided transportation to thirty neighbors to voting sites

• Registered twenty-one people to vote

• Assisted seventeen men and women in gaining employment

• Worked with Berkeley County schools in the SOLE anti-bullying campaign

• Worked with Berkeley County schools in the SOLE self-esteem building campaign 

• Hosted a no cost educational summer program for six weeks over the summer 

• Operated our first POP UP SHOP for Christmas

• Supplied over one hundred and fifty coasts
